I began quilting in January of this year. I'm a little late in starting a quilting blog! However, I decided that this blog would be more than a quilting blog because I will share other things I enjoy like cooking and getting great deals with coupons.
In an effort to catch you all up on my quilting progress I will post pictures of all my completed quilts this week in different posts.

ReplyDeleteHi, Brittany, I know your mom, Vicky Carr Collins, from work. She has visited my office in St Paul, MN and I worked with her on the ITLA project. I find it so refreshing to find a young person such as yourself interested in quilting. I have been quilting for about 10 years. I have made many quilts, but have only kept one for myself. I enjoy making them and giving them as gifts. My favorite patterns/quilters are Lynette Jensen of Thimbleberries - MN based quilted, Eleanor Burns of Quilt in a Day, and Sharlene Jorgensen of Quilting in the Heartland - another MN based quilter. I would love to share thoughts and ideas with you - if you would like! Wendy Cartmell. wrheim@comcast.net
ReplyDeleteThanks so much both of you! Wendy, any helpful tips you offer will be much appreciated! I get most of my quilt patterns from different blogs and a few I make up on my own. I have two quilt patterns from Elanor Burns that I haven't made yet but hope to get to soon. I look foward to "meeting" all of you!
